A Suppressive move, or Suppression, is a type of move that aims to prevent the target from attacking a certain time.
A stunning quick succession of attacks in a single move or a move that inflict a status effect that prevent the enemy from attacking is considered Suppression.
Supression vary depending on the video game or series.
In Senran Kagura, Supression is the knockback applied at each strike to the adversary, preventing it to attack or interrupting it.
In Warsaw, it is a statut effect that prevent the afflicted characters from acting.
However, bearing the name "Suppression" or the adjective "Suppressive" is NOT enough to define a move as supressive.
Thus, the suppressive fire tactic in We. The Revolution don't count as a suppressive attack as it doesn't affect the enemy's attack in any way other than eventually weaken it by killing one of their soldiers, which isn't suppression.
